As a Delivery Driver in the glass industry, you will be integral to our client's success by ensuring timely deliveries are completed in a safe manner. Delivery routes vary depending on the day but we have routes within Calgary and also out of town runs such as Lethbridge, Edmonton, Cranbrook & Medicine Hat. Reporting to the Shipping Team Lead, you will utilize your core skills in customer service, communication, and heavy lifting to meet our clients' needs. *MUST-HAVE* Requirements (you _*will not*_ be considered for the position if you do not have all the following): -Full Class 5 drivers licence, (*not* a GDL), and clean abstract -Able to pass a criminal record check and a drug & alcohol test -Have insurance on your own vehicles, uninterrupted for at least the last 5 years (this shows insurability to our insurance company) -No at-fault accidents in the last 5 years, and no tickets in the last 3 years -Capable of lifting 50-70 lbs unassisted and 100-175 lbs, assisted _Description continued..._ Some commercial driving experience is a definite asset as the position requires the ability to drive 1-ton, 3-ton and 5-ton trucks, but it's not required. Our drivers are responsible to load their own trucks, (with some help from other shop associates and drivers), and unload at the customers location.
