The Government of Canada, Government of Saskatchewan and industry partners are providing $7.2M to support livestock and forage-related research. The Agriculture Development Fund will support 30 livestock and forage-related research projects in 2025. Projects include research on pathogens and manufacturing vaccines, fire herbicide applications, and trace-mineral supplementation.

The Government of Canada is providing a conditional funding of $20M to Foran Mining to support infrastructure construction at its McIlvenna Bay critical mineral project.
