Canac, a hardware store chain, inaugurated its location in Rivière-du-Loup after an investment of over $20M. The store currently has 125 employees, and the business is looking to hire more people in the coming weeks.
Écosite de La Matapédia, a non-profit organization, inaugurated its new ecocentre in Amqui following a $2.5M investment. The Government of Quebec and the Regional County Municipality of La Matapédia partnered on the project.

The Municipalité de Sainte-Flavie invested nearly $5M in its new municipal building thanks to a major contribution from the provincial government
Avantis Coopérative, an agricultural cooperative, invested $1.5M in opening a Pronature store in Rivière-du-Loup. The store specializes in hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear, and it will create six jobs. The project is scheduled to begin in January.
The Municipalité de Saint-Marcellin received $2.2M from the provincial government to build its community centre. Construction Albert, a contractor from Rimouski, is carrying out the $2.7M project, which should be complete in August 2025.
