The Municipalité de Sainte-Flavie invested nearly $5M in its new municipal building thanks to a major contribution from the provincial government
The Municipalité de Saint-Marcellin received $2.2M from the provincial government to build its community centre. Construction Albert, a contractor from Rimouski, is carrying out the $2.7M project, which should be complete in August 2025.
The Ville de Trois-Rivières invested $36.6M, including $20M from the federal and provincial governments, in renovating the Salle J.-Antonio-Thompson. Therrien Inc., a local contractor, is carrying out the project, which should be complete in the fall of 2026.
The federal government proposed allocating $105.9M over seven years, starting in 2025, to build a small craft harbour in Arctic Bay, Nunavut. An estimated 60 to 150 jobs will be created during construction, with the project generating about $90M to $130M in GDP. The harbour is expected to be operational by 2031, boosting food security, commercial fishing, security, transportation, and tourism.
