The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) has approved the 1,600-acre Saamis Solar Park proposed by the Cork, Ireland-based company DP Energy for a site in Medicine Hat. DP does not have a construction schedule for the $400M project, but AUC has an “in-service” date of late February 2027.
