A new Ricky’s All Day Grill restaurant is opening in Yellowknife on February 4. The restaurant is in Yellowknife’s Centre Square Mall and near the Quality Inn hotel. The restaurant is hiring staff and waiting on some equipment before it opens.
The Bone & Biscuit, a pet supplies store, recently opened in Yellowknife.
The ?útsël K’é Co-op is expanding, with a new building currently under construction. About eight times more merchandise will be carried at the new store, including space for local artisan goods. The store services over 300 residents on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake.
The Wildcat Café in Yellowknife has closed for the season to undergo repairs following a fire on August 8. The fire was traced to a faulty oven and range.
